| Description |
A group of papers and correspondence, maintained by Crick as a working set of documents, concerning the phenomenon of supercoiling, in which the DNA double helix follows an axis that is typically curved.
Understanding of this phenomenon was enabled by concepts from geometry and topology, particularly the three descriptors: linking, twisting, and writhing.
