Administrative correspondence regarding Crick's appointment as a "Visiting Scientist of the Public Health Service for research activities with Dr Alexander Rich in the National Institute of Mental Health ... The tenure of this appointment will be for ten weeks commencing about May 1, 1956."
The file also contains a letter of 23 May, 1959 (copy/translation) from G D Afanasev to Sir Harold Himsworth, advising that "an invitation for Prof. Bresler or Dr Frankel to come to England to collaborate in scientific work ... will be considered in the near future."
