Description Series consists of material relating to Spearman's involvement in the 'Chicago experiment' conducted by Karl J. Holzinger and F. Swineford (Chicago University) in the 1930s. These were about one hundred tests administered to two groups of pupils during the spring of 1933, one of about seven hundred children in the Mooseheart schools, the other of nearly four hundred children in the Thorp Elementary School at Chicago.
